It's hard to believe that 205 days have passed since I started my resistance training journey. When I first started, I couldn't even lift the barbell without any weights on it. But now, I am lifting 70kg with ease. Looking back, I am amazed at how far I have come.
Not only have I made progress in terms of the weights I am lifting, but my body has started to show changes in terms of muscle tone and definition. It's been a rewarding experience to see the fruits of my labor paying off. But beyond the physical changes, I've also gained a wealth of knowledge about fitness and training.
I've learned so much about the importance of consistency, proper form, nutrition, and recovery. It's been a journey of trial and error, but I've developed my own technique to keep progressive overloading and to keep pushing myself beyond my limits.
One of the most valuable lessons I've learned is the importance of consistency. It's not enough to just workout once in a while or only when I feel motivated. Building strength and making progress requires dedication and discipline, which means sticking to a regular routine even when I don't feel like it. And I've seen the results of my consistency pay off in the progress I've made.
As I continue on this journey, I'm excited to see what the future holds. I can't wait to mark a year since I started and see how much more progress I can make. For now, I'm happy to be working out four times a week, focusing on perfecting my technique and pushing myself to lift heavier weights.
My resistance training journey has taught me valuable lessons about the power of consistency, hard work, and dedication. It's not just about the physical changes but also about the mental and emotional strength that comes from challenging myself and pushing beyond my limits. I am grateful for this experience, and I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and make progress in my fitness journey.
